Registration opens at 11:00 AM. Participants will receive their race number, timing chip and their official start time. Racers will begin to depart promptly at 12:00 PM from the base of Rockton Mountain along Route 322 and enjoy challenging themselves to the 5-mile ride to the summit.

Please note: Helmets must be worn by all riders. There will be no exceptions! If you meet a rider who is injured, you should determine the extent of the injury and decide if emergency medical attention is needed. If the injury requires immediate attention, stay with the injured rider. Send word to the nearest tour official or checkpoint with the next approaching rider.

The King of the Mountain offers Cash Prizes for the fastest 3 racers in both the men's and women's division

Prizes are awarded as follows:

​

Overall winner, for male and female entrants: $250

​

Second place, for male and female entrants: $100

​

Third place, for male and female entrants: $50

​

Medals are also awarded by age and gender groups and by bicycle group (tandem, road, mountain) for first-third place finishers.
