Covid Precautions

This year special precautions are being taken to ensure all participant's and volunteers' safety is considered. Please read below to learn about race day's safety protocols

Registration opens at 11:00 AM. Upon arrival, participants will be directed by parking attendants to a designated parking spot inside the Clearfield County Fair Grounds (Directly across the street from the Lawrence Township Firehall).

Participants will be encouraged to remain in their vehicle with their COVID mask on, while a Registration Specialist checks you in and provides riders with an event T-shirt, event mask, a bib with a disposable timing chip, and their individual start time.

Masks are not required while riders are actively racing but encouraged for all racers both before and after their start/finish times. We are encouraging all participants to practice social distancing while warming up, stretching and

After riders have completed the ride, competitors are encouraged to return to their vehicles and depart as this marks the end of the physical event. All Medals, cash rewards, and winner's jerseys will be subsequently mailed. Race results will be available shortly after the race concludes at www.runhigh.com and race winners announced via an event hosted on Facebook. 


We regret not having an opportunity for riders to socialize after the race most of all but hope to keep all participants as safe as possible.

Please note: Helmets must be worn by all riders. There will be no exceptions! If you meet a rider who is injured, you should determine the extent of the injury and decide if emergency medical attention is needed. If the injury requires immediate attention, stay with the injured rider. Send word to the nearest tour official or checkpoint with the next approaching rider.

*ANSI OR SNELL helmets are required for all riders.

The King of the Mountain offers Cash Prizes for the fastest 3 racers in both the men's and women's division


Prizes are awarded as follows:

Overall winner, for male and female entrants: $250

Second place, for male and female entrants: $100

Third place, for male and female entrants: $50

Medals are also awarded by age and gender groups and by bicycle group (tandem, road, mountain) for first-third place finishers.
